I've always wanted a room in pink...but our HDB flat does not allow that due to space constraints. With the purchase of our 2nd home in JB, I am entitled to my very own Princess Room! Actually the reason for this pink room was because we thought we'll be having a daughter as our firstborn. But God gave us a baby boy instead. So baby Titus will have his own Blue Room in Singapore! The theme for his room is Marine/Sail + Sea. Can't wait to take back our house so that I can start decorating his room.
Back to my Princess Room, got some ideas from youtube and went around scouting for pink furnitures. The pink lounge chair is from IKEA as well as the pink stool which I use as a side table. The pink shelf is from Jusco and quite cheap at only RM$69.90. But we have to self-assemble it. My dresser is donated by MIL who got it as part of their bedroom set. Love it cos its white and i chose the design myself.
I've always wanted a nail polish display rack. And after our failed attempt to diy a nail rack which came crashing down and broke a bottle of my fav. polish, i went around scouting for a more professional one. This is from Taobao and took around 2 months to reach me. Cost about $60 includ shipping. Much cheaper than the acrylic ones from Ebay and it looks really pretty. I arranged my polishes according to brands, followed by color tones. Seems like I have to stop buying anymore as space seems to be running out. Really love how i can see my entire collection in one glance and i won't make the silly mistake of buying the same color again.
The other thing in my Princess Room which is not shown is my keyboard which is seldom used now. Hopefully Titus will be able to play it better than me. We changed the grey curtains to the pink ones I got from Gmarket. Really completes the look of the room...I love to laze around in my Princess Room whenever we're back in JB. But most of my favorite things will be shifted back to SG once we move back to our flat. Looking forward to that! My theme for our SG flat will be pure white, hence I have a white dresser with white mirror and complete with my muji white drawers set.
