GSS is bad for the wallet.
Since I have no more baby stuff to buy, I've resorted to buying things for myself. Post-pregnancy clothes to motivate me to lose weight to become even slimmer than pre-pregnancy (i hope). Old wallet is falling apart, so i got myself a pretty Marc Jacobs in Pink! Counting my pink gadgets, I have a Vaio laptop in pink, Samsung Galaxy Note in pink, and now the pink wallet. Pity iPad does not come in pink...so i have a white iPad. O ya, i have a pink princess room in our JB House too! Shall update that later.
Discovered a new shop - TonyMolly which sells nail colors in pretty shades. I used to get nail colors from Faceshop, but i realised this shop carries more solid colors which i love! These are my latest buys! The eyeshadow from Bourjois looks so pretty with glitter..but dunno why it is not as glitter when i brought it home. Wonder if they gave me the wrong color. But it does have some glitter and the color stays on really well.
Another favorite shop of mine - m)phosis is having sale. I went crazy digging into their accessories corner as most of the rings/ bracelets were selling for less than $10. The 2 rings i got cost less than $3 after discount. The bracelets were like $7-$8 i think. The pretty bag in black was at 50% discount, cost $26+ after discount. Great for work. I bought another purple top in pleats too...but forgot to take pic. They have so many pleats stuff which I am in love with recently. Managed to dig out another black pleated toga dress shown in the pic below. This was selling at $67+, but with 50% discount, i got it for $33+. Super worthwhile buy! There was another sleeveless vest i wanted to get..after 70% discount, cost only $11+, but figured out its not really my style. Wanted to get some shoes as well, but nothing really catches my fancy. But overall, I am happy with my buys from m)phosis. I only shop there during sale because they have 2-3 sale each year, so most of the stuff are quite new and you get minimum 50% discount. They have a nice jumper suit which I almost bought if not for the fact i just bought the blue jumper as shown. This is another nice shop i discovered in Suntec. Its the first time i stepped into this shop, and was surprised to realise most of the stuff were selling for $20+ only. Even dresses and this jumpsuit i got. I think this jumpsuit cost $21 after some discounts. The cardigan is at $16+. Designs wise is a bit auntie...but if you look carefully, will be able to find some good buys.
Best purchase of the lot was the grey dress from GG/5. Original price was $105. But after 70% discount, I only paid $31+. Super worth it!! The quality is good too...great for work or leisure. Love GSS!! I have been buying something almost everytime I get to shop...but I guess with the sales going on, no harm shopping a little..besides, once Titus is born, I'll be stuck at home for a while. The flats is from BHG...$19.90. Looks really pretty with the gold butterflies. The other two tops were from Bugis Street. I seldom buy red dresses, but this red is not too striking and looks really pretty. Got the lace cardigan at a discount of $12. Hehe...
