This is my new love ~ courtesy from hubs as my first Mother's Day present! Hubs got his Samsung Galaxy Note in white 2 months back and has been trying to convince me what a good phone it is. But i was still waiting for iPhone 5 to be launched. But my old phone is dying on me with the battery life lasting only 1 day. And then I saw a fellow mummy using this! Samsung Galaxy Note in Pink!! Completed with a pink on-screen keyboard as well. I am immediately bought over. But all Singtel shops were OOS for the pink color set..and after searching through the various dealers, price is at a ridiculous high of $800+. No way am i going to pay that much for a phone. Then i remembered this uncle whom i bought dear's hp from couple of years back...and he has existing stock!! He offered us a Europe set for $680. Only con is there is no local warranty..but i figured there's no point paying extra couple of hundreds just for warranty. And the uncle assured us that this set will not give us problems. Best part is, he allowed the trade-in of my LG Optimus for $120!! That's what Singtel is offering for trade-in as well...dear traded-in his old Ericsson phone as well ...so end of the day, we only paid $520 for my phone!! He even threw in a free cover and screen protector for me. Hehe....this is how my phone looks like now! Love everything about it!
