We did our CNY shopping over the weekend, i only realised the wet market in Chinatown is closed for renovation, so we decided to pop by at Giant instead. I thought I was the kiasu one to do shopping so early (its still 2 weeks to CNY), but alas, Giant is packed with families, aunties who go around grapping stuff as if they're free!
Me and hubby had such difficulty pushing our trolley around. But nevertheless, we bought a lot of non-perishables (I mean food that we can keep at least for 2 weeks). Bought almost everything including canned Pacific Clams, chinese sausages (yummy!), vege, all sorts of meatballs, fish and prawns. We bought some snacks to topup our snacks corner as well. I really hope we dun become two fat pig many years down the road. The next day, we make it a point to wake up super early...so that we can go to the wet market near our place to grab the other stuff like chicken drumsticks. Managed to get another KG of big prawns for S$15. Cheap n BIG. The marketing trip finished with a sumptous Macdonalds breakfast...hehe...I love sunday marketing. Shall try to wake up bright n early on Sundays now...so that we still have plenty of time to do our own stuff or laze around. Looking forward to the time when we get our own car...then we'll be able to bring twinkle along too. And have some sort of family outing.
Oh ya, i nearly shock dear yesterday when i told him i suspect i might be pregnant..lol. Should've taken a photo of his shocked face. But kinda disappointed that his first reaction is shocked rather than happy..I mean most guys would be happy right? But I guess not for us at this point...life is too busy building up our future to fulfill our dreams...babies will have to wait. Not that I am a fan of having kids too...one twinkle is more than enough to give me headache.
