The flight we took to London. Not as long as I thought it'll be cos I slept through most of the journey only waking up to go washroom and eat. Quite a pleasant journey.
Nothing to do while waiting to board the plane.
Look! We're almost reaching when I woke up. Its not that far afterall. Hehe
We took the tube into town cos that is the cheapest method. Heard that London cab are super expensive. We din have a chance to try though.
Its freezing cold when we get there...din expect it to be so cold...brrrr...
The hotel we stayed in...see the botak trees?
The London "Eye". Scary name right? Actually its just a ferris wheel. Nop, I din get to ride it cos dear is afraid of heights.
The Big Ben.
Gloomy park on a winter afternoon.
Horse Guards, didn't get to see those guards with the tall black hat..so had to settle for these.
Gloomy sunset at wat?? 4pm??
Even the lion is gloomy...sighx.
This was our tour guide...a canadian guy...can't click with him though...tink its cos of the way we speak. We click better with fellow asians though.
Look, a real Seagull.
Our first stop was Amsterdam. A place of contridiction. Why is that so? Well, cos its a place of commerce and art in the day...they house the Van Gogh's Museum there. But a place of sins at night where prostitutes and drug peddlers are plenty. You know what, the friendly coffeeshop that we're all so familiar with here is actually a drug store there! And they sell innocent looking chocolate cakes which actually contains morphine! I almost wanted to buy one thinking it must be a very delicious cake since my tour guide keep mentioning it...only to realise it contains drugs. Imagine if I had bought one, it'll actually be the first time I take drugs! OMG!
What's a trip to Holland without a visit to the Cheese & Clog factory. In case you're wondering...the clogs dun feel comfortable at all! Thank God for chinese who invented cloth.
Nice view of a countryside.
