I surrender

While we are celebrating our shift back to our own house, some mishaps happened which greatly affected our mood. First, Titus had his first fever after vaccine, and this happened just the day before the big shift. Hence, i was tired (from the packing) and looking after him (monitoring his temp all night long) and worried. But thank God, he recovered soon.

Then, one day while shopping at Giant Vivo, my Pink Samsung Galaxy Note is stolen! I was looking away for a short while and when i turned back, my hp is gone. I blame myself for trusting that SG is a safe country. With the influx of all those uneducated foreigners, (I suspect a bangladesh worker stole it) SG is no longer as safe. This idiot off my phone immediately so I have no way of locating it. But again, thank God the damage is cut to the minimal, i have backups of my contacts and photos elsewhere...so i only lost the recent contacts, Titus photos and of course my phone which was a gift from hubby. Sigh, much as i hope to forgive, I can't and I curse this person in my heart that he will suffer for his action. Have you ever thought of the other party's feeling when you stole something from them or even picked up something and refused to return it? I am still believing in God for a miracle..that somehow his heart will change and he will return me my phone. If he doesn't, he has a lot of answering to do after he dies.

Lesson learnt, don't store confidential information in your phone, have backups of important data and always look after your belongings. I was too naive to hang my bag on the trolley and look away. Now i have to think twice about going to Giant Vivo, seems like mine is not the first case, I have friend who lost her hp there too. Giant management should really step up on their security, otherwise shoppers will not feel safe there.

Last rant, hubby got a speeding ticket. 6 demerit points and a fine of $150. I pray that his appeal will be successful as we're really financially tight now.
