Time really flies, baby Titus is now 3 month, 3 weeks old. He has amazed us with the things he learnt everyday. I really enjoy watching him grow, but maternity leave does not last forever. This week is my 3rd week back at work. Thank God i have planned my leave in advance to allow me to work 4 day work week all the way till Jan 2013. And i was asked to clear my annual leave, resulting in a very short November for me. Really happy with that as we are preparing to shift back to our house and i could use that extra time to unpack and settle in. Another exciting thing is decorating Titus's room. Since we only have 2 rooms technically, we have to sacrifice our "entertainment" room. And if another baby girl comes along, she will get to inherit my pink room in JB.
Titus can now comfortably lift his head up high while on his tummy. But he will still sway when carried upright, so we will not place him in his bumbo seat or jumperoo for long. At 3 months, he already have a number of interesting toys - a jumperoo, a turtle racer, a baby piano and many others. Hope he will be able to feel our love for him. Work may be tiring and sucky, but his smile never fails to cheer us up whenever we come home. Titus is the happiest baby I know, always greeting us with the brightest toothless grin. Once or twice, he will even laugh!
Another thing he amazed us is, he is able to sleep through the night at 3 month old. We will give him his last feed at 11+, and he sleeps till 7 or 8 in the morning. This is a great relief for us as we need to work the next day. We don't even have to do much to coax him to sleep, we will just switch off the light and place him back in his cot. He will either play by himself or suck his thumb until he fall alseep. No waking up in middle of the night!
Titus is also discovering new things everyday which we managed to capture on camera. He did a tongue sticking out pose for us when he discovered he has a tongue. And recently he discovered he has lips. Haha..
We really love this baby of ours and will shower him with nothing but the best. And with God's grace, he will grow up to become a man of great use and honor.
