29 Weeks Pregnant

Time really flies...seems like only yesterday I saw the 2 lines on the pregnancy test kit and today I am already in my 3rd trimester, counting down less than 100 days to the EDD. We have already decided on the name for our son - Titus : it means Honorable. We also learnt from Pastor that there is a chapter called Titus in the bible which is great as I've always wanted a bible name for our child. Titus is the best gift from God and he has been a great baby. During the recent demise of my mum, he seldom bother me with his kicks. He seems to understand that mummy is going through a very sad period and he will just wait inside my womb patiently as if waiting to comfort me.

As days of his arrival gets nearer, i can't help getting worried about silly things. Will he be normal? Will he be healthy? Is he moving constantly? But I have learnt to turn my faith onto God...to trust that He will protect whatever He has given. I will not let these worries disrupt my faith in Him. God knows and understands how much I can take...

Baby Titus is growing well at 1.6kg @ Week 29. He has turned heads down at our last gynea visit. I am talking to him everyday to ask him to stay that way. Somehow, heads down means that he can now give me more powerful punches and kicks, which sometimes hurts...but that's okay as long as he is safe and healthy. Oh ya, I am depending on God for a smooth and painless delivery too. Who says that giving birth always have to be painful?

We've bought almost everything Baby Titus needs and have started washing his stuff. Now I am packing my hospital bag slowly. Feel so fortunate to be able to do all these things for our child. Daddy even bought him a diaper genie which has arrived safely in SG. God has also blessed us in many other ways...not only do we not have to worry about financials, DH got a decent bonus and increment. And I got some small shopping rewards as a result. Am really thankful for that.

Small note to my son:
You've started kicking more vigorously this week and mummy is glad to feel you healthy and strong. You've been such a good baby. Wonder since when you've taken it upon yourself to become mummy's alarm clock. You'll start kicking me from 7am as if telling me to wake up for work. Heheee.. daddy just laughed when i told him this. Mummy has been playing this song "BabyMine" to you everynight, hope you like it..mummy intend to use this song to make your first video. I've also started educating you on light. Hope you're not scared by the torch i shine at you...lastly, we can't wait to see you at 40 weeks..in case you decided to see us earlier, please at least stay until 39 weeks. Mummy will miss your little movements in my tummy. Love ya!
