Since becoming pregnant, I've read a number of articles or even comments by fellow mummies that they experience memory loss or some even became more dumb. I never really believed until I experienced it myself. First encounter was when I was trying to mention a name to my colleague..and this is someone whom I deal with frequently. But no matter how hard I try to recall, I can't speak out his name. It finally struck me when my colleague simply said, "pregnancy memory loss isit?".
Second encounter happened on Tuesday when I was suppose to go for my gynea checkup. I always see my gynea at AMK KK Clinic and was happy to arrive at the clinic seeing it was pretty empty. Until the nurse told me i came to the wrong clinic. My appt was suppose to be at KKH TPS. I was already late for my 7.15pm appointment and had not taken dinner, what made it worse was, the nurse told me to rush down to KKH immediately as she could not slot me in for any other day. Pissed and hungry, I made my way down to KKH.
Third encounter was the receipt for our baby cot which I assumed was kept by hubby since he was the one who paid for it. I even insisted he had it although he told me he couldn't find it. On the day of delivery, I decided to search my bag for the rewards card...and to my amazement, there is the receipt sitting in my bag. What made it worse was, there was a $10 voucher which I totally forgot about and its already expired by time I saw it. SMSed hubby and this and he gave me a "I told you so" reply. I simply replied him "Don't expect too much from a pregnant woman". Hahhaaaaa...
