Reunion Dinner

This was our first CNY as a married couple. Luckily newly weds are exempted from giving ang pows for the first year. But we still prepared some to give to children. The reunion dinner was held at our place since both of us have a small family and its better to combine them then we having to go two places. We had a yummy steamboat feast and had more food than we can finish...guess its good cos it symbolise abundance right?

There were gatherings with relatives and friends on the second and third day plus gambling sessions at night. Me and dear won about S$10 from the two nights after deducting the losses...we were happy we did not lose much and enjoyed the company very much. Dear even suggested to make this an annual event. Dear's uncles and aunties came on the 2nd day, my friends came over to visit on the third day. It was great to catchup with them. But one good friend of mine got into some trouble becos of her bf. She has broken up with him and sounds quite sad..hope everything is fine. I know this bf of hers and never expected him to be such a person...getting his gf into debts...wat a jerk. If you're a man, solve your problems yourself! Why drag your gf into this and leave her to clear up your shit for you?? Man can be such a jerk at times!
Back to work today....no hint of going home early...work suxs.
