Had another arguement with mum yesterday on the PinJin and wedding ang pow issue. It affected my mood in the morning a little..fortunately not the whole day. Will be arranging my FIL to meet and discuss with her this sunday. Hopefully a fight doesn't break out. I only wish to have a happy wedding..why is it so difficult? I'll pray about it tonight with dear and hopefully God can bring us through this with a good solution. Sometimes I can't understand why mum has such a stubborn character..but dear says I take after her a lot, which I have to admit. But I'll definitely be a reasonable mother who cares about my children in future.
Work is quite boring today...no need to do any calling since my colleague is not free for meetings next week. However, just got a note one of the meeting is cancelled..and its from a potential customer. I am kinda worried..hope there won't be any drastic results. Shall try to maintain a friendly relationship with them. I spent some time going through my frenster page...wow, been a long while since I last login. Some photos caught my attention, one of my sec school classmate is married recently and another classmate was her bridesmaid. Wow, time sure flies..havent met them in ages I think. Suddenly had the urge to hold another class gathering....the last one we had was like 9 years back? Hehe..see what Shan and the gang says.
I really have to say, although life has its ups and downs..but if we remember the ups, we'll always be able to remain happy no matter how low your downs are. I am grateful for having this bunch of cheerful, bubbly friends back..as well as my scattered group of pals whom only waits for me to contact them once in a bluemoon but whenever we meet, its like we've just parted yesterday.
And nearly forgot, I got my first birthday pressie from IRENE yesterday, she got her hubby to bring it over to my mum's place. Such a coincidence..I happen to go home for the first time this week to read my letters n stuff. Got some cool deals as my birthday gifts through mail...got a SPA voucher courtesy of Chjimes for me and dear..not sure if its really real..but shall try. And a one-for-one buffet voucher from Seoul Garden~ Yippey! Too bad its kinda late to use the hotel voucher which comes with our dinner package for my birthday..but nvm, shall keep it and use it maybe before our wedding..so that can pamper ourselves and take a break before the BIG day. Ya, toking about IRENE, she is real sweet..never fail to pass me a birthday pressie even though she don't hv time to meet me. There was once she left the gift at my doorstep. Really appreciate her kind effort and thoughts for it...it feels good to know someone remembers your birthday~ anyway in case I m too busy to blog (which I doubt will happen), Happi Birthday to Me 14th August 2006. =)
