happi bdae to me,
happi bdae to me,
happi 26th bdae to me...
happi bdae to me!
Today marks the official beginning of my life as an ADULT, not that I was not before..but now that I am officially Mrs Chia, and have more or less shifted out from mum's place (I do miss mama), I feel more like a adult. Well..turning old isnt all that a great thing to celebrate..but what the heck, its MY BIRTHDAY!
Dear has already celebrated my birthday in a big way by treating me on a shopping spree to Bangkok last month. We had a nice not-so-yummy fine dining experience at SupperClub (check it out if you're in BKK, its cool~). Well aware he is quite broke after the trip since we spent a bomb there, I wasn't expecting anything much this birthday...in fact I just wanted a birthday cake with candles on the stroke of midnite and I'll be realli beri happi.
At around 10pm last night, just when I was watching tv downstairs and tying the stupid ribbons on our wedding invites, dear came down and sat beside me. Then he started asking me silly questions:
Dear: "Dear, what is smaller than Kilometers?"
Me (puzzeled by the quesn): "Ermm...meters I think." (People who know me will know I am lousy at matrimetical stuff, so I was not too sure of the answer also. Hehe)
Dear: "Then what is smaller then Meters?"
Me (a bit irritated by being asked such quesn which requires my brain to think at such an hour on a sunday especially): "Centermeters la."
Dear (with a cheeky grin on his face): "Then what is smaller then Centermeters?"
Me (surprisingly I still entertain him with answering his silly questions and not losing my temper): "Millimeters lo."
Dear: "Then what is smaller then Millimeters?"
Me: "Hmm...I dunno. What?"
Dear: "Nanometers..."
Just when I was about to scold him for wasting my time with silly questions, he continued with, "And I think there is a iPod NaNo hidden somewhere in our house."

I jumped up with surprise, "Really?" After searching the house with some clues from dear, I finally got my first and only iPod NaNo!!! Yippey....and this concludes my entire wish list for myself! Was really touched, never thought dear would buy this for me so soon especially since we're quite broke from the wedding expenses this year. But really thanks to dear for doting on me so much...and thank him for being there for me despite my short temperness. I hope we stay together 4ever n ever.
