I kindly 'requested' hubby to treat me to Sunday brunch at Basilico last sunday as I have a strong craving for foie gras and they serve unlimited pan-fried foie gras. Hubby kept reminding me how cruel and unhealthy it is, I know, but we only get to live once and I don't eat that everyday...so after saying my prayers for the poor goose, I am on my way to indulge!
Basilico is located inside Regent Hotel. Nice environment and the seats are comfortable. We were given a table near the wine cellar and a cushioned baby chair for Titus. The variety was not fantastic as the cuisine is mainly italian. But I love it much more than Ku-De-Ta as the Pan-Fried Foie Gras is much nicer. And they serve our favorite Lobster Bisque. Yummy!
We ate from 12 till 3pm which is the end of the brunch. Not that we ate a lot, but we choose to slowly indulge and waste our sunday away.
Desserts were a disappointment though. Nothing much to look forward to. However, for the atmosphere and the Foie Gras, I'll definitely be back! Oh ya, thumbs up for the great service too!
