I missed his last concert as I was pregnant (i think) or busy with something. Was quite upset about it and hb almost bought the KL concert ticket for me. But I am not a die-hard fan, just admire his talents. Hence, i made it a point to book his concert ticket this time round. Afterall he is getting old, might retire soon then won't have anymore chance to see him. Hee
However, he sure has a lot of die-hard fans as the tickets were sold out within an hour after being released. This is in fact the preview sale for M1 & OCBC customers. I managed to secure a ticket online but due to the stupid Sistic website, I couldn't complete my purchase and by the time i log in again, all tickets were sold out. I was so angry that i wrote a complaint letter to Sistic. The gentleman that called me back informed me that he couldn't do anything about this but due to overwhelming response, they decided to have an extra show on 6th June and tickets sale will start on 26th June - 10am.
I tried logging in to the website since 9.50am but couldn't get in even after 40mins. So much for their 'Q-system'. People were able to buy 2 sets of tickets and sell them online for ridiculous prices and all i wanted was to get 2 tickets for Cat 6 so that I can catch a glimpse of Jay Chou!! Is that too much to ask??
Refusing to give up, i tried calling their hotline...couldn't get through despite redialing for 20+ times. Then i remembered they had a iPhone app, and tried to download that instead. Finally able to get past to seats selection. The category that I wanted had single seats left. I made a prayer and selected 2 tickets as hb wanted to go with me even if we don't get to sit together and God bless, we got seats next to each other and a rather good view too! This is the first time I am going to a paid concert and so happy i finally can get to see Jay Chou IRL. And being the first show in Singapore, I am sure he'll have more energy for this show...all this are truly blessings in disguise.
