Celebration at Canele

Celebrated dear's promotion at Canele because I've heard raves about its crabmeat pasta. But it was a great disappointment for us. The crabmeat came with a foul smell and the pasta was tasteless and super spicy! I made a request to change mine to a crepe as I couldn't really take the spicyness. But although the crepe is edible, it is far from delicious. Likewise for the desserts. Seems like only the macarons are worth it there. At the end of the dinner, we realised they did not charge us for my crepe which is kind of them as I wouldn't have ordered it if i known the standards were so poor. That probably explains why the cafe was deserted on a sunday evening. Won't return for dinner but will definitely go back to buy my fav macarons.

Only one person is the happinest that day....hehee.
