1st time - After purchasing the flat, minor reno before we shift in.
2nd time - Major revamp of the house to suit our lifestyle and theme.
3rd time - Shifted all our furniture to JB and rented our house out for a year. We will be shifting back in Nov, hence need new furnishings + appliances.
Hubs promised this will be the last time we shift out of the house unless we upgrade or sell it away next time. He better keep this promise! Anyways, we managed to find all the furniture we like at Winter International. The 2nd shop we visited after Star Furniture. Although the discounts/ prices are not really as fantastic as we thought it is, but the auntie we met is really friendly and nice. Besides, I dreamt of this scene before...so must be destined in some sense.
We've decided to go pure white theme this time. Although our house is pretty white already, the previous furnishings were pretty much full glass+transparent. This time, its going to be purely white+some blacks.
Ordered our 2+3 seater sofa from Carrefour at a good deal of $469. Its a fabric sofa in black.
White TV Console with anti-slam drawers. Loved this as it is a much more simple design compared to our previous TV Console. Only problem is the corners are rather hard to child-proof.
Black Piano Gloss Sideboard
Did not really want to get this, but the piano black shine was too pretty and the aunty gave us a good deal for the display set. A slight defect at the side though..but we will be placing this at a corner to conceal the defect.
Saw this at another shop previously but did not buy as it cost $1k. Ended up we're paying $1188 here for this set. The only consolation is, if the aunty did not lie to us...this wood quality is better than the one we saw. The set will come with 2 long bench and 2 short bench for the sides. Plus a white glass top for easy maintenance. We saw a similar set in Star Furniture with storage..but it cost too much with the benches bundled in, hence we decided to go for this instead.
White Cube Sidetable
Couldn't really find a nice side table, hence decided to get this since its white and looks ok. Will place it at the corner of the sofa.
