On my birthday, dear brought me for a ride around the world.
Met dear at Millenia Walk. Dear had booked this tickets last year...super kiasu huh. Initially I thought it'll be for v'day (happened to peeped this in his email account). Hehe. It was a fast but nice ride..managed to catch part of the sunset view..then it was dinner at Popeyes! Yummilicious fried chicken..so much better than KFC.
After dinner, we proceeded to Marina Square where I began my birthday spreeee. After numerous failed attempts to get me a gift I like, dear decided to let me choose my own pressies instead. This year, I get to have 28 presents since I am turning 28. The first one was given 2 months back..the WII Fit board! So I went on a quick round of shopping spree since the shops will be closing soon. Bought 2 clothes from M|phosis and ended the night with a free birthday firehouse from Swensens! Thumbs up to Swensens for this great birthday treat!
Day 2 started around noon cos dear refuses to get out of bed. We wanted to visit bugis followed by orchard but ended up only have enough time for bugis cos we need to rush off to somewhere else for dinner. Bought a few tops and dress. Dear surprised me with a beautiful dress and shoes that I could wear to dinner later..yippeee...but I am too fat for the dress i guess..sad..need to diet.
Reminds me of Monaco which we visited during our honeymoon..missed that period..just the 2 of us in a foreign land..cold but romantic. Hee..next trip coming up ~ NYC!
Dinner was at a beautiful place...food was average...luckily I ordered a fish dish which is not too bad. The main surprise came after dinner when dear brought me to Science Centre...the memory of the Snow City event still stays...so I thought we're going there again..but nope..dear brought me to the observatory where we got to see Jupiter via the telescope. Cool!! First time I see a real planet!! Now I am a space fanatic..can't wait to get my own telescope soon...
On sat, we went back home cos the workers are coming to dismantle some stuff..din know we have so much stuff that can savage...dear took almost everything that can be taken..haha..his logic..dun waste. Now our house is almost empty..just like when we first got it...reno starts in 11 days...can't wait!!
