Yest i learnt an important lesson abt life. That is never to look at things only from one side.
I went groceries shopping at NTUC yesterday with dear and when we were making our way to the cashier to pay for our groceries, this malay auntie just turned and knocked onto dear who was carrying the basket of groceries and she just walked away without saying sorry or anything. We saw that her basket of groceries were still on the floor...so is she still in the Q or wat? As i was pissed by her earlier action, i just told dear to kick the basket to one side and just proceed on the Q. But dear refused and offered to carry the basket with him to the front.
Minutes later while its almost our turn, this lady came back and started looking around for her basket. Dear waved to her to come over and collect her basket. Telling her, we thought she is not coming back. The lady kept thanking us for helping her keep her basket cos she really wanted the groceries to bring home and cook cos her son is waiting at home. She said that we're really kind souls and God bless us...(blush*). Then i realised, she actually wanted to put back the fish head that she didn't wan to buy...which is realli kind of her cos usually pple will juz dump the food by the side of the counter in order not to miss the Q. But she is kind enough to put it back to the fridge so that some other pple can still buy.
This incident made me kinda ashamed of myself for having that nasty thought.
