Went Jia-Zhuang shopping with mummy on Saturday. Initially I thought there wouldn't be anything for me cos mummy has stopped working for a while and is quite poor..but when she called and asked me last week when I am free cos she wanna bring me to buy my jewellery, I was surprised. We metup at Toa Payoh (cos that is the place where the cheapest jewelley shops are...SK, TAKA).
Knowing mummy has a tight budget, I decided to go for something cheap...as long as the design is nice will do. I finally found the design I like at CITIGEMS....(the shop where fiona xie advertised for). The original price was S$1900+ ..wow...but knowing they have a promotion, we managed to minus 36% off the price. Hehe...after bargaining for a while...we got a stainless steel ring for free cos the saleslady refused to discount further.
Mummy exceeded her budget cos she knows I love it a lot..this reminds me of the time when she brought me to buy Twinkle...she paid $500 for me...even though she is against the idea of a dog in the first place..but she is willing to pay for it cos she knows I love it. Parents are like that...they may not express their love for you openly but its through their actions that tells...my parents in law love Dear cos he is their son..my mum loves me cos I am her daughter...still feelin a bit pissed about my MIL for stinging on the Si-Dian-Jin which they're suppose to give..they madeup excuses for it. But anyway, I am glad I have my mummy that still dotes on me. She also got me a simple diamond ring at TAKA...hehee...so that my Jia-Zhuang doesn't look so empty. Have yet to collect the ring though so I used my engagement ring to stand-in. This made me realise...even though mummy may be very harsh towards me at times...but deep in her heart, she still loves me...I must remember to treat her better...I must.
