CNY came and left in a blink of the eye and we're back to the routine work life again...late for work and took a cab down today..hee..no sweat cos got ang pow money to pay. Saw the canteen downstairs closed...and everywhere else is so quiet..poor us, still gotto work..everybody else seems to be still enjoying their hols. Anyway, this CNY is the second one I am spending with dear. We spent most of our time together for the past few days. First day "Chu Yi" was fun..dear planned a entire day's programme of ang pow snatching! I lost count of the number of houses we visited and the number of faces I met. Dear have not met most of those relatives himself as well..and this kept me thinking...how many unknown faces do we have to invite for our wedding?
Since this is the last year we can officially receive ang pow, we had our fun running around houses and collecting them this year. Hehe...not bad...I got about $200 from ang pow from the 2 days. Sad thing was mum did not give me anything cos she insisted that ROM is considered married and even demanded I give her ang pow this year. @#@%Ang pow from papa & mama also shrink this year. Sighx. Maybe I should have been contented with being a gf for a longer period. Hehe..
The 2 days of CNY was soooo tiring...we slept at almost 4am for the two days..and by the third day, I m so thankful I have the full day to sleep...I slept till 5pm that day..phew. Well, my "lasiked" eyes were still in a blur..I am a bit worried though, although I read on some forums that some pple had blur eyes for 3mths after their lasik treatment...well..it is already giving me problems..I can't work efficiently cos can't read the words on my computer screen and can't drive cos can't see clearly. And straining my eyes to see is making my eyes damm tired.
We had a discussion on our future house (in 10 more days to be exact) and our wedding...seems like a lot of things is not done yet..I hope I don't get pre-maritial depression. But anyway..so excited about everything...now I only wish I find a better job soon with nice bosses. Ciaoz!
