After weeks of long-neck waiting..finally the day to the collection of our house keys. We did a last check of the house last night..was so excited about it that we both arrived earlier than the scheduled time. We walked hand in hand in the rain towards our house...trying to picture what its like when we move in..and will go home together. It will be pretty sweet I guess (although the distance is not really that near). We probably will depend a lot on bicycle in future. Luckily I already know how to cycle. Hehe. The outstanding issues about the house were settled with our agent agreeing to bear the costs of S$60 (for the pipe cover and light bulbs). I just pray that there won't be anymore surprises for us.
Although I din like the seller couple very much, I still managed to force a smile on my face after the transaction on friday..happy that it'll be last I see of them...sighx..initially I still thought we can become friends..but I guess not. After our keys collection, we went back to the new house to take a look..we were both glad that we can now enter our house with due rights. The house was in a not-so-good condition, especially the floor tiles...well, we have to live with it for a while since we don't have much spare money to redo the floors.
Spent the entire weekend, since friday cleaning and washing the floors. Bet this is the most housechores we've done in our entire span of being alive. We went home with aching body and sweat..but feeling happy that the flooring finally looks cleaner. Both of us can't wait to go back next weekend to finish off where we've stopped. Loved our house~
