TeTe on ReservisT~

Been a while since i blog here...just started a blog on my renovation at www.renotalk.com.sg. Hehe...I did it for the fun of it...and also hoping to hear some comments about our new house. Glad to say that the house is almost ready...left with the final finishing touches and shifting in of stuff. I can't wait to move all my junk in..hehe..already moved in part of it already. Something funnie happened on that note, last weekend was our first weekend sleeping over at new hse...as it was a long weekend, we had a chance to experience living there for 3 full days. I had alreadi bought some of my stuff over...one morning, when I woke up..I see dear walking in front of the bed...he had brought a plastic bag of his clothings from home earlier on...hahaha..so funnie..he looked somewhat embarressed by the plastic bag...(I brought a full bag of clothes over and dear only one small plastic bag) so poor thing.
Anyway, as he happily placed his pathetic few pieces of clothes into the wardrobe (his wardrobe was suppose to b next door, but he had sweetly requested to share my wardrobe temporary). I proceeded downstairs to prepare breakfast for us..with the new sandwich maker we had, I made tuna and cheese sandwich..yummy~.

Our new 50" plasma TV arrived on saturday!!! I bought it so early as it was a steal...$1000+ cheaper than Harvey Norman listed price plus free 160GB HD recorder, free home theatre system (courtesy of Linda from Sweetson), free $300 Robinson Voucher (wanted to spend all on bedlinen initially but ended up buying 2 string curtains, 1 quilt cover set, 1 plain bedsheet and 2 water containers instead.) But to our pleasant surprise, that day was the last day of their mothers day promotion and we got another $45 voucher for the $300 we spent..if only the casher has told me earlier..I wouldn't spend that extra $58. #$%#$^ Anyway, we managed to get one more quilt cover set at only topping up $14. Worthwhile buy! I also bought our wedding day quilt cover from Aussino...there was this auntie in front of me that purchased $500+ at one go..this makes me think, she owe a hospital or wat?? Why need so many bedsheetS? With these new additions on Sunday, we had a total of 4 bedlinen sets.
Oh ya, one of the IONA fan that was sent was spoilt..so waiting for my replacement unit...the TEAC mini compo was also spoilt...dunno if its my fault for forcing the cable in..but guess the cabe alignment was not good also. The washing machine (gift from mummy) was also delivered, I did my first washing with it that day...cool~. Works perfectly fine. We are only short of the fridge now..which I am pretty tempted to buy so that I can have supply of cold drinks in the house...things get pretty hot n stuffy when you're doing the cleaning up.
